A very readable, decent thriller about a couple who's baby is kidnapped after being left alone in the house next door. Gripping, honest and twisted but unfortunately the writing style and conveniences towards the end knock a few stars off this one. I will be giving Shari Lapena's "The Couple Next Door" 3 stars.

Book Review: I Know Why The Caged Birds Sings by Maya Angelou
This autobiography of Maya Angelou is filled with brutality, but it's also filled with love. "I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings" is a truly fascinating insight into life for a black family living in the South of America in the 1930s. I'll be giving this one 3 stars because, despite my respect for the author, it's not a book I enjoyed reading for it's style and structure.
Book Review: I See You by Clare Mackintosh
It's 4 stars for this creepy page turner about being followed on the London Underground. It makes you think, it keeps you guessing. With a good balance between genres, this psychological thriller is fast paced and worth a read, even if it's just to make you change up your routine once in a while.
