A lovely collection of quaint short stories set over the Christmas period. Beautifully written and easy to read, these stories have put me in a festive mood. It wasn't perfect, but still a very good 4 stars.

Book Review: Play It as It Lays by Joan Didion
I tried to like "Play It as It Lays" and at times I did think that it was picking up, but I think I've come to the conclusion that Joan Didion is just not for me and I'll be donating my third and final book rather than struggling through another! Another 1 star review from me.
Book Review: I’ll Eat When I’m Dead by Barbara Bourland
A satirical look into the fashion world, "I'll Eat When I'm Dead" explores the pressures faced by those in the industry while investigating a couple of deaths and throwing in a little bit of comedy too. I didn't love it and not being the most fashionable person, I didn't understand it all, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. It's 3 stars from me.
Blog Tour: Attend by West Camel
It’s my stop on the “Attend” blog tour! I enjoyed this magically story and I enjoyed questioning what was really going on. "Attend" is imaginative and well written which makes it a good read in my books.
