"The Good Luck Girls" had a great opening and I also liked the ending, but I got lost somewhere in the middle. It was an enjoyable read and I'd recommend this for adventure fans or someone looking for a more contemporary Wild West type story – 3 stars.
"The Familiars" is a historical story set during the time of the Pendle Witch Trials. I really enjoyed this story and would recommend it for fans of Gothic fiction. Fleetwood Shuttleworth is a likeable character who I appreciated even more when I found out she was based on a real young woman. It's 5 stars from me!
“The Next Forever” is a lovely story of finding romance when you least expect it. Keith and Chrissie are both realistic, likable characters that you can't help but route for and their story makes for a truly heartwarming read. It's 4 stars from me!
"Before the Coffee Gets Cold" is a charming, clever story about how, no matter what we may try, there is nothing we can do to change the past and we can only learn and grow from our mistakes. I really enjoyed this heartwarming tale and it's 4 stars from me.
“A Little Romance” is a feel-good story that's a lovely addition to the Fairhill series by Alix Kelso. Exploring themes of loneliness, grief, friendship and romance, this novella is a quick read that's bound to put a smile on your face - 5 stars!
Living My Best Li(f)e is a feel-good story of friendship and community spirit that would be a ideal holiday read. It's also an important reminder that what you see on social media isn't always the truth - sometimes #livingmybestlife is a little more #livingmybestlie.
It's my stop on the “The Love Delusion” blog tour! This is a genre defying magical adventure. It was refreshing to see some strong female leads in this type of story and I really enjoyed the fast-pace. It's 4 stars from me!
I gave "Running Like a Girl" 4 stars on my first read and I think I enjoyed it even more second time round. I'd recommend this book for anyone who wants to run, or is thinking about running, but needs that extra push to get out the door - 5 stars!
