I liked the short, snappy chapters and fact that the overall message is a positive one, but the story itself wasn't to my tastes. "Posioned" was a 2 star read for me, but I'd still recommend it for fantasy fans, or someone who enjoys fairy tale retellings.

Book Review: Postscript by Cecelia Ahern
"Postscript" is a wonderful follow up to the bestseller "P.S. I Love You". Author Cecelia Ahern allows us to catch up with Holly Kennedy 7 years later and does so beautifully. I really liked this one, a strong 4 stars!

It's my stop on the blog tour for "Diary of a Prison Officer", an enjoyable, educational read, shining a light on a failing prison system in desperate need of reform.
Audiobook Review: Olive by Emma Gannon
"Olive" is a book that truly resonated with me. The leading lady is flawed, she's clumsy and she's still finding her feet in the adult world. A really enjoyable audiobook and a big 5 stars from me!
Book Review: Mordecai’s Ashes by Arlana Crane
"Mordecai's Ashes" is a really entertaining murder mystery featuring Karl Larsson, the new owner of an established detective agency. The story was well written and kept me engaged throughout. A really good 4 stars from me!
Book Review: The Courage to Care by Christie Watson
“The Courage to Care” is an honest collection of anecdotes which teach us about nursing in the wider community. I have nothing but respect for author Christie Watson, and all nurses who have the courage to care unconditionally. The style was a little bit off for me, but overall this was a really enjoyable 4 stars.
