"Postscript" is a wonderful follow up to the bestseller "P.S. I Love You". Author Cecelia Ahern allows us to catch up with Holly Kennedy 7 years later and does so beautifully. I really liked this one, a strong 4 stars!
"The Year of Less" is an honest memoir by Canadian blogger Cait Flanders. The idea of living with less is a really interesting one that will certainly make me think about my own life. I really enjoyed the chatty style of this self-narrated audiobook, it's 4 stars from me!
"Mordecai's Ashes" is a really entertaining murder mystery featuring Karl Larsson, the new owner of an established detective agency. The story was well written and kept me engaged throughout. A really good 4 stars from me!
“The Courage to Care” is an honest collection of anecdotes which teach us about nursing in the wider community. I have nothing but respect for author Christie Watson, and all nurses who have the courage to care unconditionally. The style was a little bit off for me, but overall this was a really enjoyable 4 stars.
The Rampart Trilogy is shaping up to be a fantastic series of dystopian fantasy. The second in the trilogy, “The Trials of Koli” was a really enjoyable read, exploring an already well-established world in even more detail. This was a strong 4 stars for me!
"The Salt Path" tells the true story of a couple walking the South West Coast Path. It's wonderfully written and I enjoyed the narration too. With some important messages, this is a thought-provoking read about taking life day by day. It was a great 4 star read for me!
It's my stop on the blog tour for “For When I'm Gone”, an emotional, heartfelt story about human resilience. I really appreciate the personal experience that went into this well written debut - 4 stars.
"The Goddess of Macau" is a wonderful collection of stories that I devoured over the past couple of weeks. I didn't love them all, but that's only natural in a collection. One story in particular stood out for me and will probably stay with me for some time. I'd definitely recommend this for short stories fans and those interested in learning a little about the culture of Macau. It’s 4 stars from me!
"Why We Sleep" is a really educational read that I'd recommend for anyone interested in the subject of sleep. It covers all aspects of the topic without being overwhelming. This was a good 4 star read for me!
It's my stop on the blog tour for "The One That Got Away", a twisty thriller that'll keep you guessing right up until the end. Imagine that your ex has been murdered and you're being suspected as the killer! For the most part, this is a fast paced read and it's definitely a well written debut. A great 4 stars from me!
