"Sympathy" was not for me. It's 1 star for a book that I just didn't enjoy and didn't really understand. I feel somewhat cheated as I'm not really sure that I've read the book that's described on the cover, but rather something a lot duller and certainly not my cup of tea.

Reading in Heels UK Subscription Box: November 2018
I spent the beginning of November away from the office so I've only just got my hands on November's Reading in Heels Box. Despite devouring the sweets and using all of the bath oil from October's box, I still haven't got round to reading last month's book. This seems to be becoming a trend so let's see what this month's box has in store...
Book Review: The Rise and Fall of Becky Sharp by Sarra Manning
Parts of this book are decent chick-lit that I enjoyed, however the rest of the book was too unbelievable for me. I wasn't a fan of the characters or the main plot points and felt that some of the book was still stuck in the past with the original. I'd give "The Rise & Fall of Becky Sharp" two stars.
Reading in Heels UK Subscription Box: October 2018
One thing subscription boxes certainly do is make you realise how quickly time flies! I haven't even got round to reading September's book yet and here's October's box reminding me to get a move on!
Reading in Heels UK Subscription Box: September 2018
It looks like I’m sticking with Reading in Heels after two very impressive boxes. September’s box came a little later in the month following an announcement by the company about a personal bereavement, but the box was certainly worth the wait.
Book Review: Ma’am Darling: 99 Glimpses of Princess Margaret by Craig Brown
A fascinating glimpse into the life of a Royal we don't really talk about much these days. I don't think I had ever heard of Princess Margaret before watching "The Crown" and that really is a shame as she certainly was an interesting woman! This book was a little long for my tastes as there is only so much gossip you can take before it starts to feel mean, yet I'd still recommend this for fans of the Royal Family. These "99 Glimpses of Princess Margaret" get 3 stars from me.
Reading in Heels UK Subscription Box: August 2018
After spending the first week of August away in the countryside, I was so glad to return to work to find my August Reading in Heels Subscription box waiting for me on my desk...
