"Hinton Hollow Death Trip" is full of all kinds of evil. Narrated by Evil itself, this isn't a book for the faint-hearted and is sure to keep you on your toes. I personally didn't love the style, but the story was really enjoyable and certainly unique! If you're looking for something dark, give this a try!
"Sweet Bean Paste" is a wholesome story of unlikely friendship. I loved the simplicity of this Japanese tale, but I didn't finish this book with a any strong feelings for it. This was a 3 star read for me.
For me “The Authenticity Project” was an enjoyable read but it wasn't a particularly memorable one and I found it to be a little predictable. Full of feel good themes, this could be the light read that you need at the moment. It's 3 stars from me.
I really enjoyed this who-dunnit murder mystery. The two story lines are both compelling and are intertwined well with each other. "Salvation Station" is a really great debut novel and I'd definitely recommend it for crime thriller fans. A strong 4 stars!
Anna Kendrick's autobiography is a humorous read and I'm sure that it would be well loved by her huge fan base, but for me, I'm sorry to say that it wasn't that interesting or memorable - 2 stars.
"The Colours That Blind" tells an important story through the eyes of a young albino boy and his grandmother. I enjoyed the plot, but for me, the dual timelines and terminology meant that I couldn't enjoy this as much as I had wanted to. This was a 2 star read for me.
It's my stop on the blog tour for "Written in Blood", the eleventh book in the series featuring LAPD Detective Robert Hunter. It's highly detailed and descriptive, it's super fast paced and made for a really enjoyable read. It’s 5 stars from me!
It's my stop on the blog tour for "The Big Chill", a fantastic second book for the Skelf series. Full of secrets and deception, both this and book one, "A Dark Matter" are engaging stories with a cast of strong female characters. This is a fast paced read and one I really enjoyed - another 5 stars from me!
It's my stop on the blog tour for "Homeward Bound" by Richard Smith, a funny, feel-good read that I’d highly recommend. With music intertwined throughout, this is a story of family, love, hope and dreams and finding your purpose a different points in your life. 5 stars!
"Behind the Scenes at the Museum" tells the historical story of one woman and her family. I couldn't connect with this story and struggled to keep up with the huge plethora of characters. I'm afraid this was a 1 star read for me.
