It's my stop on the blog tour for "The Favour" by Laura Vaughan, an atmospheric character study of a group of privileged young people. For the most part I found this to be an immersive read and I really liked the ending. It's 4 stars from me!

Book Review: The Midnight Library by Matt Haig
"The Midnight Library" by Matt Haig is a really quick read that'll plummet you into a magical world. I really enjoyed the concept and the thought provoking questions that it sparked. Some lives were more memorable than others but this is still a really great five stars from me.
Book Review: Give and Take by Adam Grant
Whilst I don't think it's revolutionary, I found the topic of "Give and Take" to be quite interesting and it sparked some really great discussion. The overall style wasn't to my tastes though and I'd have preferred not to have had the lengthy, detailed examples that dragged this book out for me. I wouldn't recommend it as a book, but won't be ruling out the work of Adam Grant going forward, because I think the message is good, it's the format that didn't quite work - 2 stars for the book.
Audiobook Review: A Stranger in the House by Shari Lapena
It’s another 3 stars from me for "A Stanger in the House" by Shari Lapena. This is a contemporary thriller that I enjoyed, but wasn't amazed by. Recommended for fans of the author!
Book Review: Fame by Andy Warhol
Another quick read from the Penguin Modern Series, this little book contains three sections of musings by artist Andy Warhol. I enjoyed it and found it quite interesting to read about this man and his life. Definitely recommended if that's something you're interested in. I'd give this one 4 stars.
Blog Tour: The Last Snow by Stina Jackson
It's my stop on the blog tour for "The Last Snow", a dark, atmospheric crime drama that I really enjoyed. It's well written and so descriptive. I think fans of the genre will love this one, it's a big 4 stars from me!
Book Review: If You Could Go Anywhere by Paige Toon
"If You Could Go Anywhere" is a nice read, but it sadly didn't blow me away. It was a little slow moving and I wasn't too keen on the characters. I'm very open to other Paige Toon reads, but this one was a 2 star read for me.
Audiobook Review: The Move by Felicity Everett
"The Move" was another 3 star read for me. The writing was good and there were lots of lovely descriptions, but the plot didn't really have much to offer. Recommended for fans of a domestic drama, rather than a thriller or mystery.
Book Review: Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami
Norwegian Wood” by Japanese author Haruki Murakami had been on my list for a while but unfortunately it didn't turn out to be my cup of tea. I enjoyed the writing style and some of the more poignant chapters but struggled quite a lot with the plot. This was a 2 star read for me.
Book Review: Such a Fun Age by Kiley Reid
"Such a Fun Age" is a topical read that I believe is worth the hype it's getting. I appreciate how the author has managed to leave us thinking about some really important topics, without being preachy. I sped through this and will happily give it a big 5 stars!
