Book three in the Skelf series is "The Great Silence" and it's a great 4 star read for me. This is another unique story following three strong women as they investigates the goings on in their home town. I'm a big fan of the character growth and dark humour throughout. I'd definitely recommend this!
'Early Morning Riser’ is a feel-good easy read (or listen in my case). This is an enjoyable character based story following a quirky bunch over a period of 17 years. I really liked it and it's 4 stars from me!
“Death and Croissants” by Ian Moore is an entertaining mystery that's bound to put a smile on your face. Recommended for fans of a light-hearted cosy mystery. It’s 4 stars from me!
"Stories to Make You Smile" is an enjoyable read that you can pick up for free. A great way to get into reading and discover new authors. I didn't love all the stories, but it was still a nice 3 star read.
This dramatic family thriller kept me on my toes throughout and I really enjoyed it. “Darkness and Grace” gives you the opportunity to look at your own family life and realise how drama free it is! A great read, 4 stars from me!
It's my stop on the blog tour for “Mrs England”, Stacey Halls' third novel and it's her third masterpiece! This is a really immersive, enjoyable piece of historical fiction that kept me engaged from start to finish. It’s 5 stars from me!
It's my stop on the blog tour for “The Couple”, a fun easy read about a world where societal norms are turned on their head and it's weird to be in a romantic couple. A really enjoyable rom-com, a big 4 stars from me!
“Madame Burova” is another fun read by Ruth Hogan. I enjoyed the descriptive writing and following Billie and Imelda as the uncover Billie's true parentage but got a little lost in the past. It’s another 3 star read for me!
"Last Night" by Mhairi McFarlane is an emotional read but it's still full of wit and funny moments. The themes of grief and loss are well written and realistic and the successful balance between the two make this a great 5 star read for me!
The Rampart Trilogy is a really great series that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to someone looking for a fantastical dystopian story. “The Fall of Koli” wraps up this trilogy perfectly, 5 stars!
