“The Silver Road” in audiobook wasn't my cup of tea. I struggled with the format and didn't really get into the story. I'd like to give this one a try in traditional print at some point in the future. Keep your eyes peeled for an update!
It's my stop on the blog tour for "The Last Snow", a dark, atmospheric crime drama that I really enjoyed. It's well written and so descriptive. I think fans of the genre will love this one, it's a big 4 stars from me!
I definitely didn't hate this book. I did like the overall plot but it's length, eccentricity and repetition just didn't make for a completely enjoyable read and I'm giving Jonas Jonasson's "The Hundred Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared" a poor 2 stars. Perhaps I'll give the film a try!
"The Best Book in The World" may not live up to its name, but it is fun, silly and lighthearted. Unfortunately it's the ending that lets it down which is the reason for this book receiving 3 stars.
I wanted to love it, but this story just didn't do anything for me. "My Grandmother Sends her Regards & Apologies" scores a disappointing 2 stars.
