"Postscript" is a wonderful follow up to the bestseller "P.S. I Love You". Author Cecelia Ahern allows us to catch up with Holly Kennedy 7 years later and does so beautifully. I really liked this one, a strong 4 stars!
I've finally read 'P.S. I Love You' by Cecilia Ahern. After years of loving the film, I'm pleased to find that I also really enjoyed the book. Telling an uplifting story of grief and rediscovering life, this was a great 4 star read for me!
"Olive" is a book that truly resonated with me. The leading lady is flawed, she's clumsy and she's still finding her feet in the adult world. A really enjoyable audiobook and a big 5 stars from me!
A quick read but still entertaining, "The Arrangements" is a quirky, fictional short story about Donald Trump and his family. Give it a try if you've got a spare 30 minutes. I wouldn't say it was anything special, but an enjoyable 3 stars from me!
“The Day the World Came to Town" was a really interesting book which exceeded my expectations. I really enjoyed hearing about the kindness and generosity of the people of Gander who unexpectedly found themselves as hosts to thousands of people. A strong 4 star read for me!
Bella Mackie's book "Jog On: How Running Saved My Life" wasn't what I was expecting and sadly this wasn't what I was looking for. I'm sure that this book will be really beneficial to those wanting to learn a little more about mental health, but if you're expecting a book specifically about running, I would probably give this one a miss.
It's my stop on the blog tour for "The Fallout" by Rebecca Thornton. "The Fallout" follows the story of Liza and Sarah, two mums just trying to do their best for their children. It's full of drama and is a bit of a roller-coaster read, putting a smile on your face one minute and bringing a tear to your eye the next. I enjoyed this myself but think it would be more suited to an audience of parents.
'Seven Days' is a really gripping thriller which kept me on the edge of my seat - 4 stars.
Georgina Horspool is so real it's difficult not to love her. Unemployed and single on the same day and heading home to a roommate who's not her biggest fan either. This rom-com explores some tricky themes but it mostly fun and witty. This wasn't perfect for me but still an enjoyable 3 stars.
"The Last Lie" is a gripping thriller, but it's not a tough read. I sped through the pages and looked forward to picking this up each day. Predictable and unrealistic at times but an enjoyable 3 stars.
