“Wild Dog” is a unique and interesting story about switching off and going back into nature. I'm rating this book 4 stars and I'd definitely recommend checking it out once published next week.
"A Stranger on the Beach" is a twisty thriller by a well reviewed author. The story is unique and mostly enjoyable but I found it was a little too slow paced and more of an okay read for me. 3 stars!
"All The Wrong Places" wasn't my cup of tea. Sold as a thriller, this book is a little more chick-lit than suspense. I enjoyed some of the characters and their story lines but overall this is a 2 star read for me.
It's my stop on the “The Love Delusion” blog tour! This is a genre defying magical adventure. It was refreshing to see some strong female leads in this type of story and I really enjoyed the fast-pace. It's 4 stars from me!
It’s my stop on the “Bridge to Eternity” blog tour! "Bridge to Eternity" is an emotional rollercoaster. Full of history and memories, Romola Farr tells the story of 65 year old Audrey leaving her family and her past behind for a new life in Hawksmead, or so she says! I enjoyed this one - 4 stars.
"The Woman in Cabin 10" started strong and was full of suspense but I began to lose interest in the last third as things took as slightly strange turn. It's 3 stars from me!
It’s my stop on the “The Killer You Know” blog tour! I'd highly recommend giving S.R. Masters' debut novel a try. "The Killer You Know" is a gripping story and I enjoyed acting the detective to try and work out the who/what/where/when of this mystery. It's 4 stars from me - thanks so much to Anne Cater and S.R. Masters for the opportunity to read this one!
A very readable, decent thriller about a couple who's baby is kidnapped after being left alone in the house next door. Gripping, honest and twisted but unfortunately the writing style and conveniences towards the end knock a few stars off this one. I will be giving Shari Lapena's "The Couple Next Door" 3 stars.
It's 4 stars for this creepy page turner about being followed on the London Underground. It makes you think, it keeps you guessing. With a good balance between genres, this psychological thriller is fast paced and worth a read, even if it's just to make you change up your routine once in a while.
This one is difficult to review without saying too much but it's full of suspense, anticipation and has an atmosphere I felt immersed in. I loved this psychological thriller and will be scoring "The Paying Guests" 5 stars.
