It's my stop on the blog tour for “Mrs England”, Stacey Halls' third novel and it's her third masterpiece! This is a really immersive, enjoyable piece of historical fiction that kept me engaged from start to finish. It’s 5 stars from me!
It's my stop on the blog tour for “The Couple”, a fun easy read about a world where societal norms are turned on their head and it's weird to be in a romantic couple. A really enjoyable rom-com, a big 4 stars from me!
It's my stop on the blog tour for 'The Beekeeper of Aleppo'. This is a beautifully written story of survival. Following the journey of husband and wife Nuri and Afra from Syria to the UK, this is a heart warming, informative read that I would highly recommend - 5 stars!
"All The Wrong Places" wasn't my cup of tea. Sold as a thriller, this book is a little more chick-lit than suspense. I enjoyed some of the characters and their story lines but overall this is a 2 star read for me.
"The Familiars" is a historical story set during the time of the Pendle Witch Trials. I really enjoyed this story and would recommend it for fans of Gothic fiction. Fleetwood Shuttleworth is a likeable character who I appreciated even more when I found out she was based on a real young woman. It's 5 stars from me!
