A poorly and sometimes strangely written story about a girl who gets stranded on a desert island. If I got stranded on a desert island, I certainly wouldn't want this book with me. It's one star for "The Island".

Book Review: Goose by Dawn O’Porter
A quick YA read about two best friends in their final year of school. Full of dramas, this story kept me entertained but felt too immature and unrealistic and didn't encourage me to read the previous book. For all of this I score O'Porter's "Goose" two stars.
Book Review: Us by David Nicholls
An enjoyable read about a disastrous "Grand Tour" and the dynamics between the family members who have embarked on it. A light read which is still able to delve into some serious topics. Slightly too dragged out for my liking which scores David Nicholls' "Us" three stars.
Book Review: The Disappearance by Annabel Kantaria
A gripping family drama set over two time periods, revealing past secrets and forcing you to look beyond the obvious. I really enjoyed "The Disappearance" and give it 4 stars.
