The Rampart Trilogy is a really great series that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to someone looking for a fantastical dystopian story. “The Fall of Koli” wraps up this trilogy perfectly, 5 stars!
I liked the short, snappy chapters and fact that the overall message is a positive one, but the story itself wasn't to my tastes. "Posioned" was a 2 star read for me, but I'd still recommend it for fantasy fans, or someone who enjoys fairy tale retellings.
The Rampart Trilogy is shaping up to be a fantastic series of dystopian fantasy. The second in the trilogy, “The Trials of Koli” was a really enjoyable read, exploring an already well-established world in even more detail. This was a strong 4 stars for me!
It's my stop on the blog tour for "A Hundred Million Years and a Day", a passionate adventure novel following one man on his quest to find the bones of a dinosaur. I didn't feel completely immersed in the story but I found this to be an enjoyable read with a really good translation.
"The Good Luck Girls" had a great opening and I also liked the ending, but I got lost somewhere in the middle. It was an enjoyable read and I'd recommend this for adventure fans or someone looking for a more contemporary Wild West type story – 3 stars.
