I really enjoyed this who-dunnit murder mystery. The two story lines are both compelling and are intertwined well with each other. "Salvation Station" is a really great debut novel and I'd definitely recommend it for crime thriller fans. A strong 4 stars!

Audiobook Review: Scrappy Little Nobody by Anna Kendrick
Anna Kendrick's autobiography is a humorous read and I'm sure that it would be well loved by her huge fan base, but for me, I'm sorry to say that it wasn't that interesting or memorable - 2 stars.
Blog Tour: Homeward Bound by Richard Smith
It's my stop on the blog tour for "Homeward Bound" by Richard Smith, a funny, feel-good read that I’d highly recommend. With music intertwined throughout, this is a story of family, love, hope and dreams and finding your purpose a different points in your life. 5 stars!
Audiobook Review: Behind the Scenes at the Museum by Kate Atkinson
"Behind the Scenes at the Museum" tells the historical story of one woman and her family. I couldn't connect with this story and struggled to keep up with the huge plethora of characters. I'm afraid this was a 1 star read for me.
Audiobook Review: Kim Jiyoung, Born 1982 by Cho Nam-Joo
I listened to Kim Jiyoung's story in audiobook format and for me it was just okay. The author Cho Nam-Joo uses this story to illustrate a really important message though and I think this is worthwhile read, especially as it's so short. This was 3 stars for me, but I'd definitely still recommend it and may try reading, rather than listening, to this one again soon.
Audiobook Review: The Day the World Came to Town by Jim DeFede
“The Day the World Came to Town" was a really interesting book which exceeded my expectations. I really enjoyed hearing about the kindness and generosity of the people of Gander who unexpectedly found themselves as hosts to thousands of people. A strong 4 star read for me!
Book Review: Media Queen by Michelle Prak
"Media Queen" is a really fun, light and easy read about one woman's ambition to become a success in the media world. I enjoyed the story for the most part, but felt that this was more of a YA read. It's an enjoyable 3 stars from me!
Blog Tour: Sea Wife by Amity Gaige
It's my stop on the blog tour for "Sea Wife". This book takes a complex look at marriage and family life whilst sailing the sea around the Caribbean. The writing is beautiful at times but with themes of depression and abuse this isn't a particularly upbeat read. I struggled a little with the terminology but enjoyed it nonetheless. This was a strong 3 star read for me!
